We presented our research topic on stage and shared it with professors from nearby universities, as well as other teachers and students. Although we felt nervous, we still tried our best to express our ideas bravely in the English we knew. Some students in the audience had also joined the open workshop last time, where our team member’s master taught them how to control glove puppets. Because of that experience, those students felt an even stronger connection when they saw our presentation on glove puppetry. This reflects the purpose of our project—to keep the tradition of glove puppetry alive and prevent this cultural heritage from fading away.
